For dedicated photographers, the new version offers automatic hybrid exposure, night scene detection, and significantly more precise color and temperature settings for each photo. Android also improves existing options for motion and UltraHDR photos, as well as video capture in an extended professional mode;

• More Accessibility. Your phone can connect to hearing aids to control them or directly stream audio from the device for clearer sound;

• Improved Security. Users can add fingerprint or facial recognition to protect their accounts. The operating system also provides enhanced protection against cyberattacks, dangerous apps, and suspicious websites. It includes built-in AI that scans your messages and warns you of suspicious phrases.

Which Phones Get Android 16 First?

Every model after Pixel 6, as well as certain Xiaomi and Samsung devices, can enjoy Android 16. To download the update on your phone, go to Settings → System → Software Update → Check for Update.
